Jette Hogenmiller, FNP PhD CDE
Jette R. Hogenmiller holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Master’s degree in Nursing (Oncology Pathway) from the University of Washington at Seattle, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, attended two years of graduate courses at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, and is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also served as a United States Army officer for 21 years.
When it comes to treating patients, Dr. Hogenmiller feels it is important to really “know” the person seeking care and their family. The most successful treatment outcomes are when provider and patient work together to maximize health. Healing is more than just getting the ‘right’ medication, it means using all the tools available to support your body’s healing: nutrition, meditation, exercise, good sleep, and other supports.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending her free time riding her “Specialized” bike (loves Waterton Canyon, Lake Dillon and trail to Copper Mountain), 4X4’ing (Telluride, Bear Paw Pass) experimenting with new recipes and camping.
