Kian Modanlou, MD
Kian Modanlou, MD, aims to deliver best-in-class care to every patient, whether performing a complex cancer operation or a routine case. He specializes in complex problems of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas, including cancer, and has a vast knowledge of general surgery operations. He strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to complex medical problems and personalization of the patient experience.
Dr. Modanlou earned his medical degree from the University of California, followed by a general surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed a fellowship in abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgery at Northwestern University. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Modanlou is married and has two very active sons. His family enjoys skiing and other outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. During his downtime, he loves cooking and traveling.
