Landon Fine, DO
Orthopedic Surgery

Growing up, Dr. Landon Fine’s neighbor did more than just wave from the driveway. He made a profound impact on him as a young boy. The neighbor was an innovative orthopedic specialist in limb salvage and tumors. His work inspired Dr. Fine to pursue a career that saves limbs, and lives.

As a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon in Parker, Dr. Landon Fine meets many of his patients on the worst day of their life, after an accident. At Parker Adventist Hospital, Dr. Fine works with a multi-disciplinary team of trauma specialists and wound care experts to treat life-threatening and limb-threatening emergencies in adults and children. He cares for complex fractures and severe soft tissue injuries. He treats conditions such as pelvic fractures, acetabular fractures, nonunion treatment, malunion correction, traumatized limbs, complex periarticular and long bone fractures.

Outside of trauma cases, Dr. Fine specializes in caring for upper extremity injuries and performs shoulder reconstruction. Dr. Fine performs CT-guided shoulder reconstruction, as well as reverse and anatomic total shoulder replacement surgery.

Many of his shoulder patients are active and eager to get back to doing the activities they enjoy. That hits home with him. Dr. Fine was a competitive snowboarder, surfer, and mountain bike racer, who experienced his fair share of injuries.

“It’s devastating to not be able to do what you love,” Dr. Fine says. “I understand my patients’ desire to recover and maintain their independence.”

Dr. Fine loves that his career allows him to continually learn and evolve his knowledge and techniques. But, even more than that, Dr. Fine loves teaching — whether that’s training younger surgeons and other medical professionals, or educating patients about their injuries and risks and benefits associated with treatment options.
