Dr. Philip Sarges earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. He continued on to complete his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital.---Before joining the RMG team, Dr. Sarges was the chief fellow of gastroenterology at Georgetown University Hospital Division of Gastroenterology and chief resident of Internal Medicine since 2012.---Dr. Sarges brings his specialties in video capsule endoscopy, fecal microbiota transplant, BarrX and inflammatory bowel diseases to the RMG team. He also has an extensive research background including recent research projects on compliance with colon cancer surveillance and cervical health among the inflammatory bowel disease population. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
